Georgette Heyer
A brilliant and prolific novelist, Heyer created what today is known as the Regency Romance, but her stories do not deserve
to be pigeonholed by that name. They are delightful, witty comedies of manners, filled with detail about the wonderful Regency social world.

Novels
(Note--we have listed all of Heyer's 18th-19th century novels, though some are not currently in print. This list serves as a complete catalog of her Regency/Georgian works. The books are noted as either Regency (ca 1800-1820) or Georgian (ca 1770-1800). The official Regency was 1811-1820;
however, we use the term to denote an era of specific styles and attitudes. Heyer also wrote contemporary mysteries, which may be found at Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk.)
